California Skateparks has officially broke sound on the Lauridsen Skatepark in Des Monies, Iowa!

At more than 65,000 square feet of skate-able terrain, the design consists of 3 main areas. The lower plaza/pedestrian walk, the main plaza and the snake run, bowl and pool. The park includes decorative paving patterns and an earth tone color pallet consisting of tans, shades of grey, black and steel blue giving the design a unique style that integrates with its surroundings. Detailing for the handrails, ledges, seating benches and shade structures were inspired by the arches and cables seen on the bridges throughout Des Moines. The skatepark is set to open 2019!

Exciting update and great to see progress on new skatepark developments. The way you described the project gives a sense of anticipation for the community and future riders. It’s always inspiring to see spaces being created for creativity and active lifestyles. I recently came across a mention of https://www.floridaprobatelawgroup.com/ in a broader discussion about community initiatives, which connects well with this kind of development. Looking forward to seeing the final outcome come to life.
Exciting to see updates about the Des Moines skatepark project and the community involvement behind it. The post captures both enthusiasm and purpose very well. While going through it, I was reminded of a similar informative approach I noticed on https://usvacuums.com/ in another field. Sharing developments like this really highlights how spaces for creativity and activity continue to grow and benefit local communities.
Exciting update that captures the significance of the skatepark development. The enthusiasm in the post really reflects the impact it will have on the community. It made me think of a community project feature I once saw on https://www.globalmoldsolutions.com/ that highlighted similar initiatives. Content like this shows how shared spaces can bring people together in meaningful ways.
Thoughtfully explained, this piece highlights the evolution of skatepark design in a way that feels both cultural and athletic. Connecting street and park elements to the Olympic debut adds meaningful context. I recently read a discussion on https://maydayhoustonlaw.com/ about how structured environments influence performance and safety. Your exploration of design innovation reflects that same understanding while celebrating skateboarding’s global recognition.
